Coming back to u !!

Let me hold your hand for a moment,
How precious it is to me, this moment
When I can speak my heart
Years of togetherness, but we grew apart

Our anxiousness excitement when we just started,
Your hands tied to mine
Touching my forehead, drift me to sleep
Watch me for hours together when I am asleep

Loved the fragrance when I was in your sweater
This was all that matters
Never sure of anything, we made it strike
You embraced me in your arms every night

U woke up in the midnight
And kissed my palm
Whispered in my ears
Those magical words

U knew my pain, u cured me
When u cuddled me that afternoon
U knew I was disturbed
U promised me we ll work it out

But u never knew
I was so much into u
U don’t know
I still am

I know I have let u down
U never knew this was never I intended
You went away from me
But ur presence was always there

You know I am still hanging
To those beautiful times we made together
Your shadows in my loneliness
Asking questions to myself

The foolish things blinded me
I can see realities now
I am what you wanted me to be
Wish I could turn the time
And run to u
Leaving all behind, coming back to u

This may not mean anything to you
My feelings for you,
False or true
Is just for you
I have decided not to give up
Would do anything to be with u
And wish us to last forever

Stranger

6:00 am.
Alarm ringing. Snooze.
6:10 am.
Alarm ringing. Snooze.
6:20 am.
Alarm ringing. My room mate kicked me hard. I opened my eyes wide. I was late. Crashed into the washroom, wore the creasiest shirt, messy hair and ran out to the main road carrying bag in one hand and jacket in other. Nothing could have been more embarrassing than running like a maniac on the busy road.
Reached pizza hut and took a deep breath seeing my bus standing just in front of me. Rushed into the bus and what more could I have asked for the beginning of my day, a stare from them understanding my condition. Just than a bright face peeped on me from behind the cushioned seat, smiled at me. The sudden start of bus reminded me I was still standing at the stairs and being the center of attraction. Flushed, I went straight to my usual seat, the window seat on left first row alone. Kept my jacket aside and closed my eyes and cursed the horror movie I watched last night.
Opened my eyes with sudden halt in the moving bus. We just took right from the Banjara hills red light and stopped in front of KBR Park. The bus driver almost crashed into a Honda city while taking the turn. A fight among them was obvious. I was busy planning my evening as my thought process never stopped working.
Everybody started getting down the bus. My mind said that these people just want to support the driver and the bus will start soon. I saw him moving out of the bus with his bag. He took his first step on stairs and looked at me and found me glaring him. He made a gesture asking me to come down. It took me a second to realize that my deadly fear came true; I had to go to office alone. Luckily found an auto for office, I was about to step in and felt his movement towards me. I sat anyway.
After a month of that incident, I stopped traveling in office bus, I shifted to madhapur. I was happy that my training group was back again but in different block. I started visiting them often for lunch and evening snacks.
I saw him in the cafeteria while lunch break. His smile flashed through my eyes and came on my face. Yes, he noticed me too. But this time he didn’t smile. For months the same routine was on. Seemed like I was in late 60s when a hero and heroine would look at each other for years and years and gather courage to express their feelings.
I started waiting for him in the cafeteria, in the office lawn, at the entry gate. My eyes would always search for him while having lunch. His one appearance made me smile. And one day he found me on Orkut. We met for the first time. He shook my hand and my heart missed a beat. I was awestruck by his innocent face and soft words. Suddenly I was scared if he could listen the thumping inside me.
I managed to look sober. He said good bye. And my mind stopped working. He told me that he is going for vacation. He was getting married to his childhood sweetheart. My heart missed a beat again, but this time it seemed it never thumped another time.
Dazed with the blow on my head I sat on the marble square in the lawn. I saw a hazy figure moving away from me. A drop of water hit me like an arrow on my face.

My phone started ringing. Dazzled, I started looking for it in my bag. A hit on my back and I was on the floor.

Alarm in my hand I could see the time. It was 6:20 am.

I rushed to get ready. Entered the bus and was center of attraction for everyone.

Just than a bright face peeped on me from behind the cushioned seat, smiled at me.

I smiled back to him.

I went straight to my usual seat, the window seat on left first row alone. Kept my jacket aside and closed my eyes.
